My story with React JS

I will be very honest how I got started, and the main reason is because I want to share my experience with React, I don't want bother you with a perfect story where all was perfect since I started.

I just want to share with you that a story can be good even if it's not like so interesting for other people.

You can decide by yourself if is or isn't.

I just started when I was in 5th year in university, and then I discover React, because was used for to do a project using that technology. So I need to learn it, then I stopped of learning, because my mind invades with so much thinking like this: "I am not good at React, but people needs someone that knows React", then I had the Impostor Syndrome

I was struggling with React the first time, so I see a video in YouTube(3 hours aproximately), but then was easier to read React code, and then I feel confident using useState and useEffect.

Then I was about to do another project using React and Django, and was challenging, because I didn't know React Router or anything like that, so I say : "This will be difficult", but then I realized that it's normal for me to be difficult, because I am a newbie using React, but the projects needs real skills, and someone like me, learning at the moment, I was just thinking, that the project will be a disaster, but anyways I build the project and realized that I was uncomfortable doing it but learning so much doing something new and different.

Then I started reading code from other people, and then I realized that my code sucks, and then I started to imitate what other people do in the project using also React.

Then I continue to do more code, with just the basics I have known so far.

Now we are in 2025, in 21 June. I am learning React because I have a personal project to do using Django and React. But before to launch the React project, I will improve the CSS, and the React, and then write it down what are my mistakes that I did using the application.

This will be helpful for another people that are struggling using React or feel identify with me and my errors. 😉🎉
